I was tasked with a last minute costume for Favorite Super Hero Day at School.
I was thinking Cat Woman because she wore all black and all I needed was a "Cat" inspired mask. My daughter was thinking something a bit more elaborate so we compromised and came up with "Black Widow in a mask"
30 minutes later after re-purposing an old Mardi Gras mask from New Orleans, and rummaging her closet for all things black this was the finished product.
I'm a woman over the age of Forty who loves fashion. I'm not a 40 year old woman who has a 25 year old fit body so I try to find flattering stylish outfits to fit my current body type as I embark on a new lifestyle and exercise journey. This outfit was perfect for a Fall day.

On Sunday, I spent the afternoon at the Reggae Wine Festival at the Linganore Winery in Mt. Airy, MD with my friend and her friend. We were able to tour the facility as well as indulge in several wine tastings throughout the day.
The weather was beautiful and the music was really good. I enjoyed the bands as well as the freestyle music that allowed people to participate in all of the line dances including the Cha Cha slide and The Wobble and a tad bit of "trap music".
My favorite wines were the Dry white wines. I purchased "Terrapin" and "White Raven".
The Terrapin white is described as Medium bodied semi-dry white wine with hints of honeysuckle and stone fruit, similar to a drier Riesling.
The White Raven which was my favorite was very similar to Pinot Grigio. It is described as a light bodied white wine that has a crisp citrus nose, with refreshing lively acidity throughout. Similar to a Pinot Grigio.
The reds were equally delicious including a Dry Red blend called ( Bah-che-o-nee) in Italian means “ A big Kiss”. They describe it as A light red blend of Chambourcin, Barbara, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Berry nose gives way to a combination of red fruit, white pepper and oak with floral notes.
